A Quick Guide about RC Helicopters

If you are a hobbyist and are interested in owning an RC helicopter you must know what version of flying copter you need first before spending on buying. For your information, if you only want to have a simple hovering and flying toy you can buy 2 to 4 channel RC copters. But if you want the extreme type that could do the acrobatics and amazing moves then go for the 6 channel version. You can also do simulated flights on this one with your computer so you always have the freedom of practicing its flight even you are indoor. The Art of Cooking

Culinary arts used to be the “art” of food, where the chef had a knack for producing incredible food that is both delicious and appealing to the eye.  Culinary arts now a days has turned into more of a culinary science.  Scientist are using research, statistics, behavioural sciences, and even neural sciences to understand why groups of people like food, how they taste food, and even what they perceive as “worth the price.”  This isn’t just about the food anymore, even factors like lights, music, and how often the waitstaff asks if you need anything come into play.  Are you ready to study culinary science, or do just want to enjoy your art still?  Can passion and creativity out pace the scientific method?  I think the art tends to take the science to the next level.

The Pro riders choice of mountainboard

People always want to know what boards the top riders ride. In snowboarding and mountainbike magazines there are no end of sections showing what equipment the stars of the sport are using. In mountainboarding this is a whole lot simpler. The sport is pretty small and there are very few real options. For the downhill racer, or boardercross racer there are two options. First of all the MBS Pro 100. This is Colorado Springs based MBS’ top board. It is bombproof and features all the components needed to win races whilst still being very versatile and a freestyle weapon. The other option is a NoSno. NoSno are a UK based company specialising in downhill boards. The boards are a lot heavier than the MBS options but do cater well for downhill racing. They are very expensive though too.

Stitching, sewing and needlework machine basics

The top needle pops the thread through the top of the material and the thread loop created is linked by a second thread on the underside of the material which locks the loop. This process continues for the line of sewing. It is called lockstitching and is the principal of operation of all sewing machines. Hand stitching is much slower even when an expert in needlework is sewing at top speed. Modern sewing machines for home use can accomplish many stitch types and some more expensive machines are capable for doing embroidery. The needle up down motion and sewing speed is controlled by a foot pedal which leaves the sewers hands free to position the material. Older home machines were very heavy but modern materials have reduced the weight considerably and machines are more portable than previously. Safety guards are now fitted around the needle to prevent serious injury. Common popular sewing machine brands are Singer, Brother, Pfaff and Viking.
