One of the many ways that people go about selling gold is by throwing a gold selling party or attending one. These gold selling parties are places where like minded people go and learn how to sell gold for cash. In many ways its kind of like a Tupperware party or a Mary K party. They are either hosted in someones home or in a hotel. The host generally contacts a gold buyer (preferably a gold refiner) and they send out a kit that includes a weight scale and a testing kit that can tell what karat the gold is. Then the host gathers the gold and sends it in to the company. Some companies will actually send out an appraiser to help with the whole situation but there is usually some kind of fee with that arrangement.
