Ping Iron Review

Running your finger over them compared to conventional hybrid golf clubs, the grooves are definitely sharper. The offset and lighter weight took a little getting used to as well as the bounce on the wedges, but I can see why these have stood the test of time. The scoring irons have a crisp preciseness to them and they do bite. They look great, but don’t expect a forged feel. They are forgiving, but not like a huge cavity back or oversized iron. Great for any level and to learn on as the sweetspot isn’t that huge despite being a cavity back. The weaker loft does take some psychological adjustment to, but worth it if you can get over it. Finally, while you can probably find something technically superior for the same price, iron technology really hasn’t changed all that much and name another iron you can buy whose value has maintained (or even increased), like these.
