It wasn’t until I was well into my thirties that I discovered the joys of amber and the jewelry made from it. As a matter of fact my very first pieces of amber jewelry where a set of amber earrings and ring given to me as a gift from my husband’s mother.
Soon after receiving these gifts and after I had worn them a few times I realized that I was becoming very attached to them and began to value them more than any other earring or necklace in my jewelry box.
I began a collection which now, more than ten years later is going very well and growing every year. I promise myself a present whenever I travel and make sure I buy at least one piece of amber jewelry for every country I visit.
