We got some new wooden venetian blinds for the bay window in our kitchen a couple of weeks ago, and I absolutely love them. My kitchen has a country charm to it, I’ve worked hard to make it look that way, and I have always been concerned that blinds on the windows were going to take away from that rural atmosphere. After going to the local window coverings shop here in town, I was assured by the salesperson that wooden is definitely the way to go, and he was right.
I find it really hard to visualise how something will look in my home until it’s actually there, so I was a little concerned that I would spend all that money (wood doesn’t come cheap, you know), only to find out that I didn’t like it. The salesman assured me that each wooden venetian blind would be covered in their return policy, so I bit the bullet. I’m so glad I did, because they just look fantastic.
